Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jeskai Hero tribal build commanded by Captain America, Team Leader. The central game plan focuses on curving out thematic Marvel Hero creatures, utilizing the commander's ability to grant immediate haste, vigilance, and scaling +1/+1 counters to each entering ally. This rapid tempo enables continuous combat pressure without suffering from summoning sickness. As the board develops, the deck multiplies damage using powerful anthem effects such as Captain America, Wings of Freedom, Avengers Assemble!, and damage doubling from Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor. Layered defensive options like Kid Loki, Captain America, Super-Soldier, and Silver Surfer, Cosmic Voyager shield key attackers from spot removal and board wipes. While the deck lacks high-velocity fast mana and hard tutors, its high density of interchangeable combat threats and resilient recovery options allow it to reliably establish a threatening combat clock by Turn 6 and close out games through overwhelming board presence.
