Deck overview

This mono-red spellslinger deck centers on Urabrask // The Great Work, converting rapid sequences of low-cost instants and sorceries into mana velocity and direct damage. The deck develops smoothly by deploying early mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling, Storm-Kiln Artist, or the commander on Turn 4. On Turn 5, it transitions into an explosive storm turn fueled by rituals like Jeska's Will and Mana Geyser. Damage amplifiers such as Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and Guttersnipe dramatically multiply the lethality of every cast trigger, burning out all three opponents in a single turn. Additionally, the deck features a compact infinite combo with Mana Geyser and Reiterate, generating infinite red mana and infinite copied burn spells. While the strategy relies heavily on creature-based engines and lacks answers to resolved enchantments, its high redundancy, low mana curve, and potent redirection suite provide reliable execution.
