Blight by BlankZero

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund -1/-1 counters midrange-combo deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The game plan floods the board with counter distribution, proliferate, and token engines (Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, Flourishing Defenses, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician), then converts that engine into table-wide drains, infect kills, or locked boards. Auntie Ool, Cursewretch is a powerful command-zone value piece: every -1/-1 counter placement either draws a card (on your creatures) or pings an opponent for 1, and her Ward-Blight 2 makes her sticky. Primary wins are infinite token/drain loops, All Will Be One burn, Triumph of the Hordes/infect finishers, and soft locks via Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night. The deck plays as a relentless attrition engine that snowballs counters into inevitability.
