Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Red Dragon tribal stompy strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The game plan focuses on spending the early turns casting mana rocks and tribal cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant to accelerate into high-cost threats. Once Lathliss, Dragon Queen enters the battlefield on Turn 5, every subsequent Dragon spell creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token, rapidly doubling the deck's board presence. Damage multipliers like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus convert this aerial army into explosive direct damage and lethal combat swings. The deck features strong creature-based interaction and asymmetrical sweepers like Breath Weapon, but it lacks stack countermagic and enchantment removal. While vulnerable to board wipes due to sparse protection, its density of standalone bomb Dragons ensures high resilience and independent threat generation even if the commander is removed.
