Deck overview

This Izzet deck is an artifact battlecruiser strategy commanded by Jhoira, Ageless Innovator. The primary game plan revolves around casting Jhoira on Turn 2 and tapping her each turn to accumulate ingenuity counters, enabling the deck to cheat colossal artifact creatures directly onto the battlefield without paying their high mana costs. The list maximizes velocity by pairing Jhoira with cheap untap spells like Shore Up, Cerulean Wisps, and Patriar's Seal, which double as counter accelerators and protection. By Turn 5, Jhoira cheats out format-defining beaters such as Krang, Utrom Warlord, Darksteel Colossus, and Triplicate Titan, granting the board evasion, haste, and indestructible keywords to crush opponents in combat. High-yield draw spells like One with the Machine keep the hand refueled with giant artifacts, while cheap interaction defends the board against targeted removal.
