Old Rutstein by Orzhov667

Format: Commander

Commander: Old Rutstein

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Old Rutstein is a value engine that turns every self-mill into a token or Treasure, and this Golgari list is built to profit from milling itself. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with creatures and lands, then reanimate the best bombs or return every land with Aftermath Analyst/Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. Secondary paths are a Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion infinite-ping combo, a Craterhoof Behemoth overrun, and Jarad sacrifice drain. The commander is not a required finisher; it smooths early turns, while the real hidden commander of the deck is the graveyard itself. Protection is light, so the deck must sequence its reanimation and hold Veil of Summer for the turn it tries to win.
