Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Dog-tribal aggro-engine led by Sophia, Dogged Detective. The strategy establishes early low-cost Dog creatures, deploys Sophia to create Tiny, and attacks to generate Food and Clue tokens. Sophia converts these artifact tokens into permanent +1/+1 counters across the pack, rapidly scaling power. Value engines such as Academy Manufactor, Garruk's Uprising, and Brokers Ascendancy accelerate token production, draw cards, and grant trample. The deck leverages heavy protection spells—including Clever Concealment, Heroic Intervention, and Restoration Magic—to safeguard its developing board against opposing removal. Victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage, amplified by asymmetric board wipes like Damning Verdict or decisive finishers like Akroma's Will and Simic Ascendancy. The list relies on functional redundancy rather than dedicated tutors, executing a consistent mid-power beatdown game plan across normal turn cycles.
