Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Sultai Elf/Faerie deck built to turn tribal presence into mana and card advantage. Maralen, Fae Ascendant is a single-faced commander; the deck uses her front face as a mill-and-theft engine, exiling two cards from opponents whenever an Elf or Faerie enters and free-casting one exiled spell each turn. The primary plan is to ramp, grow the Elf/Faerie count, then convert that board into an infinite-mana loop via Food Chain + Eternal Scourge or Misthollow Griffin, Peregrine Drake + Deadeye Navigator, or Ashaya + untap rangers. The commander is not a combo piece; the real hidden accelerant is the tutor package that fetches the engine creatures and finish with Finale of Devastation or Villainous Wealth.
