RATs by user3665020

Format: Commander

Commander: Marrow-Gnawer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Marrow-Gnawer leads this mono-black rat swarm, turning cheap bodies into an exponentially growing token army. The deck packs thirty Relentless Rats/Rat Colonies, uses Marrow-Gnawer to sacrifice one rat and create a fresh wave equal to your rat count, then attacks with fear and scaled stats. Backup lines include Karumonix, the Rat King granting toxic counters, mass recursion via Rat King/Phyrexian Reclamation, and a Cabal Coffers-powered Exsanguinate. The commander is a force multiplier rather than the sole win condition; the redundant rat shell keeps the deck operational even without it. Karumonix is a strong lieutenant from the 99 but not a true hidden commander.
