Format: Commander

Commander: Ashad, the Lone Cyberman

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ashad, the Lone Cyberman drives a grixis artifact value engine that aims to bury opponents in copied artifact spells, sacrifice-trigger drain, and a critical-mass artifact count. While Ashad provides casualty copies and grows from sacrifices, the list's real backbone is a deep artifact recursion/sacrifice loop using Scrap Trawler, Myr Retriever, and Imotekh the Stormlord, with alternate wins like Marionette Master, Syr Konrad, Hellkite Tyrant, and Time Sieve. The deck is moderately commander-dependent: Ashad accelerates value but the engine functions through payoffs like Mishra, Urza, and Emry. It is a midrange combo-value hybrid that can execute deterministic loops in the late game.
