Deck overview

Queen Marchesa is a Mardu monarch-control deck built around claiming the crown, keeping it with goad and pillowfort effects, and converting the extra draws and token generation into a grindy token army. The commander is a single-faced legendary; her main roles are a hasty deathtouch monarch trigger and an incidental 21-damage threat, backed by Gisela. The deck is intentionally political: council votes, goad, and universal monarch draws let it stay ahead while opponents fight each other. The actual finish is usually Court of Embereth or Assemble the Legion tokens doubled by Gisela, or a long series of commander/assassin hits; there is no compact two-card combo.
