Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Gruul Landfall strategy built around Omnath, Locus of Rage. It leverages efficient land-ramp spells, extra-land enablers like Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Exploration, and graveyard land recursion from Crucible of Worlds and Ancient Greenwarden to rapidly accelerate its mana base. Once Omnath enters the battlefield on Turn 5, every land drop generates a 5/5 Elemental token, rapidly building a wide, high-power army. Omnath's passive death trigger turns opposing sweepers and sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment into lethal direct damage. Mass-landfall spells such as Scapeshift and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods trigger sudden token explosions, while Craterhoof Behemoth and Purphoros, God of the Forge convert board presence into game-ending damage by Turn 6. Backup threats like Avenger of Zendikar and Titania, Protector of Argoth maintain pressure if Omnath is answered, making the deck resilient and consistently threatening across casual high-power pods.
