Deck overview

Fumulus, the Infestation leads a mono-black sacrifice deck that turns creature deaths into flying Insects and incremental life swings. The core plan uses recurring creatures such as Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodghast, and Cult Conscript with outlets including Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Carrion Feeder, and Priest of Forgotten Gods. Payoffs such as Grave Pact, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and The Meathook Massacre convert those sacrifices into board control and life loss. The deck has strong creature-attrition potential, but its exact engine is slow to assemble because it lacks dedicated tutoring. Its interaction is mostly black removal and edict effects, with little protection and no counterspell access. Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Sol Ring, and Jet Medallion support later turns, but the deck is not consistently fast. It can dominate creature-heavy tables after establishing Grave Pact, yet it does not present a reliable compact kill or total lockout.
