Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Steal and Sacrifice strategy led by Edea, Possessed Sorceress. The core game plan revolves around deploying 2-CMC mana rocks on early turns, establishing a low-cost sacrifice outlet, and casting Edea on Turn 4. At the beginning of each combat phase, Edea borrows an opponent's creature, grants it haste, and allows you to attack with it before sacrificing it to generate mana, scry, or draw cards. Because Edea returns borrowed creatures to their owners upon death, the engine focuses on generating overwhelming card velocity and combat tempo rather than permanent removal. As the game transitions into the midgame (Turns 5–6), the deck leverages heavy hitters like Neheb, the Eternal, Mayhem Devil, and Grim Hireling to convert stolen attacks and death triggers into massive damage. The game is closed out by Turn 8 through multi-turn combat attrition, or immediately via an infinite combat loop with Neheb, the Eternal and Aggravated Assault.
