Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius midrange strategy centered on artifact generation, energy counters, and board-wide combat scaling. Commanded by Mendicant Core, Guidelight, the deck utilizes low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers to deploy recurring token creators such as Sai, Master Thopterist, Retrofitter Foundry, and Thopter Spy Network. As artifacts enter, the deck accrues energy and increases speed, leveraging cards like Aetherworks Marvel, Aethersquall Ancient, and Panharmonicon to generate massive card advantage and board control. The mid-to-late game transitions into decisive combat pressure through formidable threats including Myr Battlesphere, Salvation Colossus, and Legion Loyalty, which empower swarms of evasive Thopters and Constructs. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to graveyard recursion like Academy Ruins and Jolted Awake, the list lacks dedicated tutors and fast mana, relying instead on compounding synergy and steady incremental card advantage to outlast opponents before closing the game around Turn 9.
