Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dimir combo-control list built around Hidetsugu and Kairi. The strategy accelerates into its commander by Turn 3 or 4, leveraging the enter-the-battlefield Brainstorm ability to sculpt both the hand and the top of the library. By casting low-cost clone creatures or copy spells, the deck triggers the legend rule to sacrifice the duplicate instantly. This death trigger exiles the top card of the library, draining an opponent for its mana value and casting it for free if it is an instant or sorcery. By stacking devastating high-cost spells such as Time Stretch, Rise of the Eldrazi, Mnemonic Deluge, and Aminatou's Augury, the deck chains extra turns and repeated clone death triggers to burn the entire table to zero life in a single turn cycle. Backed by free counterspells and flash draw-punishers, the list delivers high lethality with strong stack control.
