Deck overview

This Bant deck is a synergistic snow midrange strategy commanded by Isu the Abominable. The game plan focuses on establishing early snow mana using low-cost ramp pieces such as Into the North, Sculptor of Winter, and Coldsteel Heart. Once Isu enters the battlefield, it turns the top of the library into an extended hand, granting consistent card advantage by casting snow permanents and clearing land pockets. The deck transitions into the midgame by assembling formidable combat threats, including an escalating Isu, snow-scaling behemoths like Abominable Treefolk and Conifer Wurm, and the legendary 20/20 Marit Lage via Dark Depths or Marit Lage's Slumber. Interactive elements primarily revolve around freeze and tap effects such as Icebreaker Kraken and Icebind Pillar, backed by Sunstone for combat defense. While vulnerable to sweepers and lacking instant-speed protection, the deck delivers resilient board presence and heavy combat pressure.
