Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Meren of Clan Nel Toth to establish an attrition-based graveyard engine. Early turns prioritize mana development through landcycling and ramp creatures like Sakura-Tribe Elder, alongside self-mill cards such as Stitcher's Supplier and Satyr Wayfinder. Once Meren enters play on Turn 4 or 5, she generates repeatable card advantage by recurring creatures each end step. As experience counters accumulate, the deck transitions from returning cards to hand to reviving them directly onto the battlefield. Its primary path to victory involves locking down opposing creatures with recurring edict effects like Plaguecrafter and Demon's Disciple while beating down with large reanimated threats such as Wrecking Beast and Apex Witchstalker. The deck lacks infinite combos and fast mana, relying instead on incremental board control and combat steps to secure a win around Turn 10.
