Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir combat-tempo and topdeck-burn strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It leverages cheap, evasive creatures to trigger Commander Ninjutsu as early as Turn 2 or Turn 3, completely bypassing the commander tax. Once Yuriko is attacking, she generates steady card advantage while turning high-mana-value spells into global life loss across all opponents. The list blends a feline creature package with potent topdeck manipulation like Scroll Rack and Lim-Dûl's Vault to reliably stack 7 to 10 mana spells like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Panther Robot on top of the library. Supported by efficient countermagic such as Flusterstorm and free interaction like Deadly Rollick, the deck protects its combat steps and rapidly drains the table within two full turn cycles after onset. An incidental Notion Thief and Teferi's Puzzle Box synergy provides an alternative hand-lock route against draw-heavy opponents.
