Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Mardu combat-cheat aggro strategy commanded by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary game plan accelerates Kaalia onto the battlefield on Turn 3 using low-cost mana rocks, equips haste, and attacks on Turn 4 to cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly into play tapped and attacking. Payoffs like Master of Cruelties can eliminate an opponent instantly, while Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Archfiend of Despair rapidly multiply combat damage to close out the table. The list features dense protection (Lightning Greaves, Flawless Maneuver, Grand Abolisher) to ensure Kaalia connects, along with devastating one-sided board wipes like Ruinous Ultimatum and Farewell. If Kaalia is contained, Sneak Attack and hard-cast midrange flyers ensure sustained pressure.
