Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is led by Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos, focusing on a synergistic Phyrexian tribal and Incubator token strategy supported by an aristocrats subtheme. The game plan centers on casting Brimaz early and chaining Phyrexian creature spells to amass large Incubator artifact tokens. By sacrificing disposable creatures or tokens, the deck triggers Brimaz's end-step ability to proliferate counters across the board. The deck maintains battlefield control through premium removal and asymmetric sweepers like Sunfall and White Sun's Twilight, which wipe opposing creatures while leaving noncreature Incubators untouched. Once a critical mass of Incubators is established, the deck transforms them into massive Phyrexian beaters, closing games via combat damage boosted by Cathars' Crusade or Elesh Norn // The Argent Etchings. Secondary win conditions include aristocrat drain via Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and infinite persist loops with Lesser Masticore, Metallic Mimic, and Ashnod's Altar.
