Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Rakdos aggro and big-mana strategy built around Ozai, the Phoenix King. The primary plan accelerates into an early Ozai cast on Turn 4 or 5. Thanks to haste and firebending 4, Ozai immediately attacks for 7 trample damage and generates 4 unspent mana. Ozai preserves all unspent mana as red across phases and turns, rapidly crossing the threshold of 6 unspent mana to become an indestructible, flying 7/7 threat. The deck converts accumulated mana into extra combat steps via Relentless Assault, Full Throttle, and Savage Beating, or power multipliers like Bulk Up and Temur Battle Rage to quickly eliminate players with commander damage. Redirection spells like Bolt Bend and Return the Favor shield Ozai from exile removal, while Leyline Tyrant acts as a potent backup mana reservoir and burn finisher.
