Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-red combo-burn strategy centered on Heartless Hidetsugu. The primary game plan accelerates mana rapidly during the early turns using premium fast mana artifacts and rituals, establishing a damage doubler such as Furnace of Rath or Solphim, Mayhem Dominus alongside a haste enabler like Lightning Greaves or Thousand-Year Elixir. On Turn 4, the deck deploys and activates Heartless Hidetsugu, instantly dealing 40 damage to each opponent at starting life. The pilot avoids self-elimination through lifelink equipment like Basilisk Collar and Shadowspear, asymmetric doublers, damage prevention via Dark Sphere or The One Ring, or by keeping an odd life total. Backup win conditions include an infinite mana and burn loop with Mana Geyser and Reiterate, as well as Brash Taunter damage reflection. The list combines explosive proactive speed with targeted defensive tools to execute sudden table-wide knockouts.
