Deck overview

Imotekh the Stormlord leads a mono-black artifact midrange and reanimation deck focused on self-mill, unearth recursion, and wide token generation. The deck establishes early mana using artifact rocks and basic Swamps, deploying Imotekh on turn 4. Once assembled, the engine triggers every time artifact cards leave the graveyard, producing pairs of 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens. High-impact reanimation spells like Living Death and unearth creatures like Skorpekh Lord quickly build a menacing combat presence that overwhelms blockers. Alternate win conditions include cheating massive threats like Shard of the Void Dragon with Anrakyr the Traveller or draining opponents with Shard of the Nightbringer and Psychomancer. While the deck features strong recursion and asymmetric board wipes, it relies on combat steps to close games and is vulnerable to mass graveyard exile and artifact sweepers.
