Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Boros aggro-stax deck commanded by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary strategy deploys low-cost, evasive non-Human creatures on Turns 1 through 3 while casting disruptive stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate, Deafening Silence, and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben to hinder opposing development. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Winota and attacks, triggering multiple free Human recruits directly from the top of the library into combat. High-impact Humans such as Blade Historian, Angrath's Marauders, and Goldnight Commander rapidly escalate power output, while token generators like Geist-Honored Monk fuel subsequent attack waves to wipe the table by Turn 5. The deck also integrates an infinite combat line using Combat Celebrant and Rionya, Fire Dancer alongside robust protection spells.
