Deck overview

Baylen, the Haymaker turns a token board into flexible resources: two tokens make mana, three tokens draw a card, and four tokens strengthen the commander. The deck builds that board with Hop to It, Farmer Cotton, Secure the Wastes, March of the Multitudes, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and landfall cards such as Scute Swarm. Cryptolith Rite, Anointed Procession, Doubling Season, Parallel Lives, and Mondrak, Glory Dominus can scale the output substantially. The main pressure plan is to establish a wide board, then use Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Warleader's Call, or Impact Tremors to create a must-answer state around turn 7. The deck has good protection and removal, but its finish is usually combat-based and lacks a reliable compact table kill. Its strongest games generate overwhelming board presence rather than a deterministic combo.
