Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counter and go-wide token swarm strategy led by The Astonishing Ant-Man. The primary game plan converts card draw into +1/+1 counters on the commander, which are then cashed in for 1/1 green Insect tokens. These tokens trigger powerful combat-damage draw engines such as Bident of Thassa, Coastal Piracy, and Curiosity Crafter, creating a compounding loop of cards, counters, and creatures. The deck finishes games by turning its insect swarm lethal through mass overrun and evasion cards including Beastmaster Ascension, Herald of Secret Streams, Overwhelming Stampede, and Unnatural Growth. While the list features dense ramp, explosive card advantage, and strong protective tools like Ripples of Potential, it contains no infinite combos or nonland tutors, requiring ordinary combat steps across multiple turn rotations to eliminate opponents.
