Deck overview

This Esper Knight deck is commanded by Sidar Jabari of Zhalfir, combining aggressive tribal tempo with graveyard reanimation. From turn two onward, the eminence ability loots on every attack, filling the graveyard with high-impact Knights like Herald of Hoofbeats, Vodalian Wave-Knight, and Elenda and Azor. A dense core of twelve Templar Knights ensures early board presence, smooth mana curves, and an on-demand tutor for legendary artifacts like The Circle of Loyalty or Mithril Coat. Once Sidar Jabari connects in combat on turn five, he returns reanimation targets directly to the battlefield without paying mana. The deck overwhelms opponents using asymmetric tribal sweepers such as Raise the Palisade and Harsh Mercy alongside evasion grants and double strike from Kinsbaile Cavalier. While weak to dedicated graveyard exile and fast non-creature combos, its built-in filtering, resilient protection in Guardian of Faith, and redundant tribal lords provide consistent mid-game pressure and high operational recovery.
