Commander: Bartolomé del Presidio

Deck overview

This is an Orzhov sacrifice/reanimator combo deck built around Bartolome del Presidio as a free, repeatable sacrifice outlet. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with self-mill, establish an Aura-recursion creature, and loop a death-return Aura such as Kaya's Ghostform or Gift of Immortality through Bartolome to generate infinite death triggers and +1/+1 counters. Drain payoffs like Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Agent of the Iron Throne, Marionette Apprentice, and Ninja Teen convert each loop into lethal life loss. If the combo is not assembled, the deck falls back on recurring value threats like Sun Titan and Angel of Indemnity for an evasive, lifelink beatdown plan. It is a focused, graveyard-centric list with a large web of redundant combo permutations, but it is correspondingly vulnerable to graveyard hate and commander removal.
