Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and cheat archetype led by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan accelerates into Yennett on Turn 4 or 5, manipulates the top card of the library using tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Soothsaying, and attacks on Turn 6 to cast massive odd-cost spells for free. These payoffs include game-warping stax pieces like Void Winnower, board-clearing threats like Toxrill, the Corrosive, and high-impact value spells like Breach the Multiverse. The deck supports this plan with diverse creature removal and unique disruption pieces such as Fatespinner and Exchange of Words. Because the list lacks cheap countermagic and fast mana, it relies on steady land drops, deliberate topdeck curation, and combat damage across multiple turns to secure victory.
