New Untitled Deck by user5099099

Format: Commander

Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder is the engine: his combat damage turns every hand-cast spell into an extra cascade. The deck's primary plan is to ramp to him, make him unblockable/hasty, and chain cascade spells into free value and massive Eldrazi-style payoffs. Secondary paths use suspend spells (Ancestral Vision, Profane Tutor, Inevitable Betrayal) for card advantage and a back-up cascade suite (Imoti, Quandrix, Abaddon) if Yidris is offline. Maelstrom Wanderer is the de facto hidden commander, providing haste and two cascades. The deck wins through combat - enormous swings from Etali, haste-boosted tokens, and Keeper of Secrets/Nalfeshnee damage - not through infinite combos.
