Thranduil the Strategist by Labrayed

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil the Strategist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil the Strategist is an Elf tribal landfall engine that turns every land drop into an extra Elf token and makes those Elves tap for mana. The primary plan is to chain extra land plays with Exploration, Azusa, Aesi, and Oracle of Mul Daya, then overrun with Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation. A secondary path uses Circle of Dreams Druid plus Umbral Mantle for infinite mana and a huge Finale. The second Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally, acts as a hidden backup lord and token generator. The deck is built almost entirely around the main commander's landfall trigger and its ability to convert an Elf swarm into mana.
