Format: Commander

Commander: The Cabbage Merchant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Helmed by The Cabbage Merchant, this is a mono-green Food/token value deck that turns artifact tokens into mana, card flow, and an overwhelming combat board. The commander turns opponents' noncreature spells into Foods and lets two Foods tap for any color, while Peregrin Took, Academy Manufactor, Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, and Stridehangar Automaton multiply every token event into multiple artifacts. The primary path to victory is drowning the table in 3/4 Treefolk, 6/6 Oozes, and doubled attackers courtesy of Unnatural Growth and March of the World Ooze. A secondary infinite-mana line using Krark-Clan Ironworks with the token multipliers can generate unbounded artifacts and mana, feeding Hangarback Walker, Chameleon Colossus, or a Thopter swarm. The commander is an accelerant and value piece rather than a required combo component; the 99 carries the actual game plan.
