New Cloud planet's Champion by Jbarrass

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Planet's Champion

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros Equipment Voltron deck is helmed by Cloud, Planet's Champion, a 4/4 that gains double strike and indestructible while equipped and doubles all triggered abilities from itself and attached Equipment. The primary game plan is to suit Cloud with equipment that generate value on attack-such as Genji Glove (extra combat), Sword of Vengeance (haste + keywords), or Mjolnir, Storm Hammer (mass damage)-and leverage the doubled triggers to chain extra combats, draw cards, and eventually close out the game with commander damage or wide burn. The deck includes a robust tutor suite (Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, Godo, Bandit Warlord, The Seriema) to consistently find key equipment, and a small number of protection pieces (Voice of Victory) to safeguard its combat turn. The backup plan relies on other legendary creatures like Sami, Wildcat Captain or Lightning, Army of One carrying equipment, but the deck heavily pivots around Cloud's doubling ability. ---
