Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Mizzix of the Izmagnus. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost mana rocks and spell reducers during the opening turns, casting Mizzix on turn 4, and accumulating experience counters on the player. Because experience counters reduce the generic mana cost of all instants and sorceries, higher-cost card draw, rituals, and burn spells become extremely mana-efficient. On turn 6, the deck uses massive mana generators such as Mana Geyser alongside copy enablers like Bonus Round and Thousand-Year Storm to execute an explosive, game-ending storm turn. Opponents are eliminated simultaneously through scaling noncombat damage sources, including Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, and Coruscation Mage, amplified by Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might or a massive multikicked Comet Storm.
