Deck overview

This Sultai deck is a graveyard-centric midrange strategy built around Teval, the Balanced Scale. The game plan focuses on rapid early mana acceleration and self-mill to stock the graveyard with lands, utility creatures, and high-impact reanimation targets. Once deployed, Teval converts combat attacks into immediate board presence and ramp by returning milled lands and generating 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The midgame compounds this advantage through complementary leaves-graveyard triggers like Tormod, the Desecrator, Kheru Goldkeeper, and Teval's Judgment, backed by deep recursion from Conduit of Worlds, Meren of Clan Nel Toth, and Life from the Loam. Victory is achieved around Turns 6 to 8 by leveraging devastating mass reanimation spells like Living Death or executing a wide, evasive combat swing powered by Lord of the Accursed, Colossal Grave-Reaver, and Wonder granting flying from the graveyard.
