Deck overview

This deck is a classic Golgari Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy piloted by Meren of Clan Nel Toth. It focuses on developing early mana and filling the graveyard through self-mill creatures such as Skull Prophet, Millikin, and Sakura-Tribe Elder. Once Meren resolves on Turn 4, the deck begins accumulating experience counters to repeatedly recur impactful creatures directly onto the battlefield during each end step. It controls opposing boards through continuous sacrifice loops using Merciless Executioner and Butcher of Malakir, while denying graveyard interaction via Dauthi Voidwalker. In the late game, the deck converts its accumulated graveyard size into decisive combat pressure using massive threats like Lord of Extinction pushed through with Rogue's Passage or Will of the Sultai, backed by wide token generation from Hornet Queen and steady life drain from Blood Artist.
