Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, using recurring sacrifice engines to generate card advantage, suppress opposing creature boards, and assemble lethal drain combos. The primary game plan unites low-cost recursive creatures like Forsaken Miner and Gravecrawler with versatile sacrifice outlets such as Warren Soultrader and Phyrexian Altar. By layering death triggers with Sephiroth, Blood Artist, or Zulaport Cutthroat, the deck drains opponents while maintaining resource parity. Fast black tutors and efficient reanimation spells provide high redundancy, allowing the deck to switch between asymmetric board attrition with Grave Pact and same-turn infinite drain loops. Backed by explosive mana acceleration from Cabal Coffers and Phyrexian Tower, the deck consistently closes games on Turn 5.
