Cloud Commander by user5731448

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Naya Equipment Voltron strategy helmed by the pair Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary. The primary game plan is to deploy both commanders early, attach a suite of powerful Swords (Sword of Feast and Famine, Sword of Hearth and Home, Buster Sword), and leverage Cloud, Midgar Mercenary's ability to double triggered abilities while Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER attacks with haste, drawing cards and generating Treasure tokens. The deck can chain infinite combats via Aggravated Assault combined with untap effects from Sword of Feast and Famine or the Treasures from high power, closing out the table in a single turn. Secondary win conditions include Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreading commander damage to all opponents, Hellkite Tyrant's artifact win, and Knuckles the Echidna's treasure threshold. The deck is relentlessly aggressive, with a dense tutor suite to find the missing pieces.
