Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya go-wide aggro and creature-lock strategy helmed by Kudo, King Among Bears. Kudo sets the base power and toughness of all other creatures to 2/2 while making them Bears. The deck breaks parity through static anthems, +1/+1 counter engines, and tribal synergies that make your creatures much larger than opposing 2/2s. Cards like Ayula, Queen Among Bears turn every creature entry into targeted fight removal or stat growth. The deck can establish an asymmetric lockout with Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, which permanently reduces opposing 2/2 creatures to 0/0 and kills them as state-based actions. It also contains an infinite token combo with Cathars' Crusade and Scurry Oak. Protected by Grand Abolisher, Heroic Intervention, and Flare of Fortitude, the deck reliably pressures life totals and finishes the game around Turn 6.
