Quintorius by Umby

Format: Commander

Commander: Quintorius, History Chaser

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Boros deck is a self-mill/discard engine built around Quintorius, History Chaser. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with cheap spells and permanents, then exile or recur them from the graveyard to create a swarm of 3/2 Spirit tokens. Hofri Ghostforge, Quintorius Field Historian, and On Wings of Gold turn the token swarm into resilient attackers; Moonshaker Cavalry and the commander's -4 loyalty ability provide the final burst. Recursion tools such as Sun Titan, Karmic Guide, Serra Paragon, and Sevinne's Reclamation keep the engine running and offer a secondary value plan. The commander is an engine and finisher, but backup token payoffs and recursive threats keep the deck operating if it is removed.
