Deck overview

This Mono-Green Stompy deck harnesses extreme power-to-mana efficiency to cheat Ghalta, Primal Hunger onto the battlefield as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. The primary strategy opens with 1-mana and 2-mana mana acceleration into aggressively statted 3-drop and 4-drop beaters like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus. Once 10+ power is established, Ghalta lands as a 12/12 trampler that triggers robust draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. The deck transitions into overwhelming lethal pressure on Turns 5 and 6 by leveraging massive power multipliers like Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, or tapping Selvala, Heart of the Wilds for explosive mana bursts. While resilient against single-target blockers thanks to native trample, the deck's primary vulnerabilities lie in sorcery-speed sweepers and minimal stack interaction, demanding proactive sequencing and timely deployment of its protection spells.
