Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads an aggressive Boros Dwarf tribal deck that marries fast creature deployment with Equipment synergies and artifact token scaling. The game plan focuses on curving out low-mana Dwarves such as Dwarven Recruiter, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Reyav, Master Smith during the first three turns, using early mana acceleration and Treasures to deploy Thorin on Turn 5. Once on the battlefield, Thorin converts every subsequent Dwarf into Treasure tokens while turning the entire artifact stockpile into an explosive team-wide power anthem. By Turn 6, the deck initiates critical pressure, swinging with massive double-striking Dwarves and extra-combat threats like Desert Were-Worm to eliminate opponents across consecutive combat steps. Flexible utility pieces like Sunforger, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Orcrist, Goblin-cleaver provide independent backup routes and reliable removal tutoring. While vulnerable to mass board wipes, the deck leverages high creature redundancy and quick rebuilding lines to maintain steady pressure.
