Deck overview

This Golgari Squirrel-tribal token deck is helmed by Hazel of the Rootbloom, who serves as both a token-copying engine and a mana battery. Hazel's end-step trigger copies a token you control - two copies if it's a Squirrel - while her tap ability converts X tapped tokens into X mana of any color. The deck floods the board with Squirrels via Squirrel Nest, Chatterstorm, Deep Forest Hermit, and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, then wins through combat (Craterhoof Behemoth, Beastmaster Ascension, Second Harvest) or the compact infinite loop of Chatterfang, Squirrel General + Pitiless Plunderer + Warren Soultrader, which drains the table through Mirkwood Bats or Poison-Tip Archer. Token multipliers Peregrin Took, Bilbo, Fellow Conspirator, and Academy Manufactor explode the board exponentially. A classic go-wide token strategy with a compact infinite backup.
