Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger list built around Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting Vivi with damage-trigger draw effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or pairing it with Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cast draws three cards. This fuels a continuous storm sequence on Turn 4, cycling through low-cost cantrips, rituals, and free interaction. As Vivi's power grows from +1/+1 counters, its activated ability taps for immense mana bursts to finance further spells. The deck closes games via accumulated burn triggers, storm payoffs like Grapeshot, massive Crackle with Power casts, or an infinite mana loop using Quicksilver Elemental. A suite of free and efficient countermagic protects the combo turn against opposing interaction.
