Deck overview

This Naya Dinosaur deck leverages Huatli, Poet of Unity to guarantee land drops and transform into Roar of the Fifth People, generating tokens, mana acceleration, and a tutor for apex Dinosaurs. The plan focuses on deploying early ramp on turns 1 and 2 to assemble engine pieces or transform Huatli on turn 4. By turn 5, the deck transitions into its critical onset by deploying game-ending threats like Gishath, Sun's Avatar, Etali, Primal Conqueror, or Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, often accelerated through Savage Order or Monster Manual. Robust card draw engines like Vaultborn Tyrant and Garruk's Uprising keep the hand full, while premier protection spells like Teferi's Protection, Deflecting Swat, and Heroic Intervention shield large boards from sweepers. The deck closes games around turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage amplified by Chapter IV's double strike and trample or overrun effects from Finale of Devastation.
