Deck overview

This deck is a focused Grixis Rat tribal deck built around 18 copies of Rat Colony and commanded by Wick, the Whorled Mind. The primary strategy curves low-cost Rats into Wick, steadily growing a Snail token that serves as both direct burn and massive card draw. The deck reaches critical mass on Turn 6 by utilizing Thrumming Stone to ripple through the library and cast a dozen Rats in a single turn, or by multiplying power using Marrow-Gnawer, Shared Animosity, and Kindred Charge. High-efficiency interaction like Deflecting Swat, Deadly Rollick, and Cyclonic Rift protects the board while disrupting opposing strategies. If wiped, mass reanimation spells like Patriarch's Bidding and Living Death instantly restore the entire swarm.
