Commander: Kellan, Inquisitive Prodigy // Tail the Suspect

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Simic landfall/value deck that ramps aggressively, then drowns opponents in card advantage and overwhelming board presence. The commander, Kellan, Inquisitive Prodigy // Tail the Suspect, provides flexible utility-destroy a key artifact on attack while using its adventure to draw a card and play an extra land each turn. The deck's engine is landfall: you ramp out lands via spells like Cultivate and Mutated Eternal, then turn those lands into multiple triggers from Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Rampaging Baloths, Rampaging Growth, and Avenger of Zendikar. Big creatures such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Koma, World-Eater, and The Pride of Hull Clade serve as win conditions, often end-red by Overwhelming Stampede or End-Raze Forerunners. The deck lacks a hard-combo finish but applies steady pressure through resilient, large threats backed by token engines and card draw.
