Storm; Flying Off the Rails by ERock915

Format: Commander

Commander: Storm, Windrider

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Storm, Windrider is a Selesnya aura-voltron commander whose static ability turns any flying creature-especially one that gains flying from your targeted spells-into an evasive threat that also blanks opposing fliers. The primary plan is to cast Storm, pile on cheap enchantments and Auras, then use targeted spells to grant flying and smash for commander damage. The real finisher is Super State, which makes the enchanted creature 9/9 and spreads combat damage to all opponents; a follow-up Tifa's Limit Break or Akroma's Will makes that one hit lethal around the table. A secondary token/flying plan with Elspeth, Archon of Sun's Grace, and Monastery Mentor provides resilience when the commander is taxed or removed.
