Forces of the Imperium slightly upgraded by Laggindragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Marneus Calgar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Esper token deck is helmed by Marneus Calgar, whose "Master Tactician" ability draws a card for every token that enters under your control - a massive command-zone card-advantage engine. The deck floods the board with tokens via Squad creatures (Sicarian Infiltrator, Space Marine Devastator, Ultramarines Honour Guard, Zephyrim), Company Commander, Birth of the Imperium, and Inquisitorial Rosette, converting each token into a card. The primary win is the Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal infinite-mana combo, with outlets in Marneus's own {6} token generation, Staff of Domination, and Magistrate's Scepter for infinite turns. Secondary paths include go-wide combat with anthems like For the Emperor!, the Mechanized Production alternate win, and Out of the Tombs self-mill recursion. Bard, King of Dale and Wizard's Staff multiply both token and draw triggers.
